Barrier Walls
View ProjectsPREVENT & CONTAIN THE MIGRATION OF FUTURE CONTAMINANTS WITH BARRIER WALLS
Barrier walls are used to prevent migration of contaminants by providing a physical, vertical barrier within the layers below the excavation line. As such, barrier walls can control and capture seepage as well as intercept an entire plume. Limitations may depend on the barrier type and Posillico has developed the knowledge base and expertise to implement a wide variety of vertical contaminant barriers. Deep Wells can also be utilized in conjunction with a barrier wall to help collect and extract contaminants.
