Water Treatment
View ProjectsPOSILLICO HAS THE TECHNICAL SKILL AND EXPERIENCE TO PERFORM WATER TREATMENT ON GROUNDWATER COLLECTED BY DEWATERING
In order to excavate in dry and stable conditions, contaminated sites often need to be drained below natural groundwater level. Using deep wells, wellpoints or ejectors, water is removed from the soil. Dewatering can significantly reduce the cost of excavation. The groundwater collected by dewatering activities may need to be treated for contamination. Water treatment is the process by which the quality of the water is improved mechanically / chemically to safely allow discharge in local sewers. Groundwater discharge is highly regulated and Posillico is both technically skilled and has the experience and engineering to perform this work. Posillico can also assist with regulatory constraints and managing the appropriate permits.
