PROJECT OVERVIEW

Design Build project for 43 miles of Border Wall fence and associated critical infrastructure. Project is located in a remote area of the Texas/Mexico border. Required extensive logistical support and detailed project setup. Posillico worked with its local partners in Texas to fabricate fence sections and transport them to the site.

WHAT MADE THIS JOB COMPLEX

The availability of materials and remote location of the work area required us to set up networks of vendors and suppliers throughout Texas. Furthering these issues was the vastness of the project itself. The entire project area was stretched over 65 miles. In many cases Posillico had to build or re construct roads to access areas of the site. This made both construction and field investigation for design difficult.

HOW POSILLICO SOLVED IT

Posillico strategically placed lay down yards, offices and mobile concrete batch plants throughout the alignment. Creating a mobile system allowed us to be more flexible with our work locations and responsive to changing site conditions.
