PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project consisted of milling and resurfacing the roadway of the Meadowbrook State Parkway between Southern State Parkway and Merrick Road in the southbound direction and Merrick Road and Babylon Turnpike in the northbound direction. This project was scheduled and completed as nighttime work due to the daytime traffic volumes throughout the work zone.
WHAT MADE THIS JOB COMPLEX
Multiple phases running concurrently, coordination between each subcontractor’s schedule, and adhering to a strict timeline of road closures posed the biggest obstacles for this project.
