PROJECT OVERVIEW
The scope of the work consisted of servicing the commercial moorings for Buchanan Marine at various locations. Mooring service includes performing dive inspection of the mooring chain and anchor, replacement of moorings chains, swapping out moorings and providing tug service for barge moves and repairs.
WHAT MADE THIS JOB COMPLEX
The job was challenging due to multiple job locations with limited or no access from land. Project schedule requirements required several mobilizations and the ability to mobilize on short notice as needed.
HOW POSILLICO SOLVED IT
By maintaining an active marine fleet of tugs, barges and workboats located in the NY area, BWM was able to provide schedule flexibility for a wide range of marine services.
