PROJECT OVERVIEW
The project included soil mixing for ground stabilization where Posillico utilized deep soil mixing tools to inject and mix concrete with subsurface sediment to produce a “load-bearing” subsurface. As Posillico completed mixing, the contractor formed and poured foundation elements for future building.
WHAT MADE THIS JOB COMPLEX
Posillico was responsible for all aspects of the projects including mix design, engineering, equipment purchase, grout plant set-up and operations, and mixing. The ground was extremely unstable and required careful preparation before work started and as work progressed.
HOW POSILLICO SOLVED IT
The project was a success due to careful planning, having the right equipment, utilizing an innovative design, and using expert personnel.
