The aim of this program was to improve project delivery and reduce costs by streamlining projects using the Design-Build project delivery system. Posillico teamed with Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. to carry out the project design work and L.K. McLean Associates, P.C. to perform professional engineering inspection on the project. By utilizing the Design-Build project delivery system, the design, construction, and inspection work was performed under a contract with one entity. This allowed design and construction to progress together reducing the overall timeframe as compared to conventional Design-Bid-Build delivery methods.
