PROJECT OVERVIEW
Performed Maintenance work for Verizon in the areas of Southern Westchester and Rockland County New York. Posillico’s scope of work includes trenching, conduit repair work, conduit installation, rodding and roping, as well as providing crews for emergency failures.
WHAT MADE THIS JOB COMPLEX
Most of the challenges revolved around installing underground utilities while maintaining a high degree of safety implementation and traffic awareness. Maintaining crew schedules so they can be deployed throughout the county as needed. Other complexities included responsiveness to customers and maintaining positive customer relations throughout the project.
HOW POSILLICO SOLVED IT
Posillico addressed these complexities by implementing and diligently maintaining a high level of pre-planning and communication with the Owner. This allowed our team to efficiently implement our safety program, maintain staffing management to dispatch crews anywhere in the county, coordinate with Verizon’s internal crews, and maintain qualified flaggers and traffic control personnel.
