PROJECT OVERVIEW

State of Texas sponsored design build project for the installation of border wall along various areas of the Rio Grande Valley. Project is located in a remote area of the Texas/Mexico border. Client required a fast turnaround from contract award to construction. Extensive logistical support and detailed project setup.

WHAT MADE THIS JOB COMPLEX

Design and concurrent construction due to the tight schedule and project startup requirements. Project is located along an active roadway and farm. Posillico had to coordinate work with the residents, farmers and State of Texas. Project site was relatively flat which made design of drainage structures and flow paths for storm water critical.

HOW POSILLICO SOLVED IT

Posillico and our design build partner split up the design into portions and segments. This allowed our team to continue working while the overall design was completed. Performing this way required attention to detail and constant communication between all parties.
